NHS drop-in sessions

NHS partners will be visiting public venues in Shepshed and Blaby in March to discuss proposed improvements to the healthcare that patients receive in hospital, at home and in the local community.

The drop-in sessions will be held on:

Monday 18th March 2019, 1.00pm – 4.00pm, Shepshed Library, Hall Croft, Shepshed, LE12 9AN

Thursday 21st March 2019, 10.00 – 4.00pm, Blaby Library, Lutterworth Road, Blaby LE8 4DW.

The public can just drop-in for a chat and have a look at informative displays that include plans that could see significant investment in the outdated acute hospital estate in Leicester that will significantly improve services for the benefit of the local population. People will also be able to talk to representatives from NHS partner organisations about what matters most to them about NHS services.

They can also hear about the progress being made to keep more people well and out of hospital and provide better care in a crisis, as well as discussing the changes that will deliver more care close to home – particularly for those people who have one or more long term condition and those in need of high quality specialist care.
