What: A ‘Media Club’ for Disabled Children & Young People aged 14-25 years old
When: Wednesdays 4pm-7pm for 6 weeks
30th August 2017 – Introduction
6th September 2017 – (film, video)
13th September 2017 – (photography, instagram)
20th September 2017 – (audio, podcasts)
27th September 2017 – (social media channels).
4th October 2017 – Review
Why: Supporting club members to access, be safe, understand and get involved with the creation of media. This will include, filming, photography, podcasting and social media.
Where: The West End Centre, Andrewes Street, Leicester LE3 5PA.
The Media Club will consist of 3 x 45 minute sessions:
4.15pm – Stories: look at the news, comment, opinion etc.
5.15pm – Memories: this is me, this is my life, this is what I like doing etc.
6.15pm – Skills: learn a new skill or improve their current social media profile etc.
