CRB Checks

Phil, one of the Carer representatives at the Board, got some information about changes to CRB checks (the way services check if staff and people who have applied for jobs have been caught breaking the law).
He wanted to make sure that everyone knows about the changes.
Phil said "As a member of the Carers group I was very worried to learn about the changes planned by the Government, to  CRB Checks.
I would suggest to Carers that they log onto the website,  and see just what these changes are, and how it might affect them their families. personally.

Making the Partnership Board as good as it can be

At the April Partnership Board meeting we voted on some ideas to help make the Board as good as it can be.
The ideas included changing how often the Board meets and the way we run the meetings.
We also voted on a role description for Board representatives. A role description is a list of the things a good Board
representative will do.

We agreed that the Board will meet every 2 months.
We decided who we need at every meeting.
We decided to ask the big organisations how they will work with the Board.
We agreed the role description for Board representatives.
